Rachel Marcus is a master's student in the Department of Communication at the University of Arizona, where she also serves as an instructor. Her research investigates how digital communication shapes emotional and social outcomes across the lifespan. She is particularly interested in understanding how early developmental experiences influence vulnerability and resilience in response to online hostility and stress. Using perspectives from media psychology, human development, and health communication, Rachel’s work seeks to advance understanding of well-being in increasingly digital social environments.
