Public Relations Student Society of America
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) University of Arizona chapter is a pre-professional student organization focused on public relations and communications. It provides students with resources, networking opportunities, and mentorship to prepare them for careers in the industry. PRSSA aims to enhance education, broaden networks, and launch careers in public relations and communications. PRSSA chapters are located on university and college campuses across the U.S. and in Argentina, Columbia, Peru, and Puerto Rico. PRSSA is headquartered in New York City and led by a National Committee of PRSA and PRSA members. The UA chapter aims to serve members by enhancing public relations knowledge through innovative professional development and opportunities, including hosting industry professionals as guest speakers, workshops, networking opportunities with PRSA members, and leadership opportunities. Membership also includes access to a national network with professionals, reduced rates to conferences, access to exclusive internship opportunities, opportunities to learn more about different public relations sectors, reduced rates for PRSA memberships, certificate programs, webinars and more! Western States Communication Association (WSCA)
WSCA's purpose is to unite people in the western United States who have an academic, lay, or professional interest in communication. Although membership extends throughout the United States and internationally, members are predominantly from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
