Michelle Suarez is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication at the University of Arizona. Her research interests lie at the intersection of both health and interpersonal communication, including contexts such as social support, patient-provider communication, and behavioral intention. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Suarez completed her undergraduate degree at the University of La Verne where she majored in Speech Communication, and her master’s degree in Communication Studies at California State University, Fullerton.
