Hey there! I am Andrea, and I was born in the foreign land of Italy. 

After about eight years spent working as a journalist between Italy, Arizona, and Australia – last with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) – my heart brought me back to Tucson and to the University of Arizona. 

My research interests are mainly related to the world of social media, echo chambers, filter bubbles, and how they affect individuals’ comprehension of real-life events. 

I have many hobbies: I play guitar, basketball, cook, and meditate. I also have a beautiful 4-year-old husky, Snow. Shoot me an email for a picture! Cheers!
