Arizona Hockey Media is an award-winning program that helps students gain a wide range of
unique real-world production experiences. The U of A hockey media internship seeks to
advance the careers of students interested in sports broadcasting and production or educate
those who are new to the field.

This is a professional team based mentorship program, with hands-on experience offered in the fields
of video, photo and broadcast media production:
1) Live Youtube Game Broadcasts for the 2026-27 season played at the Tucson Arena using OBS.

- Opportunity for interns to learn the process of hockey commentary and develop skills in both
prerecorded and live interviews in a professional setting.
3) Promotional and documentary video producing, shooting, and post-production.
- Technical experience and hockey knowledge is welcome, but not necessary –Manager of
Hockey Operations, Tanner Harris, will train, mentor, and oversee all staff – and tailor each
student experience to their level of ability. Dedication, reliability, and a cooperative team-oriented attitude are traits we value most!
