Amanda Cooper earned a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Arizona. Her research interest is in the intersection of interpersonal, family, and health communication. Specifically, she is interested in the way individuals and families utilize communication related to aging, such as retirement, illness, role reversal, and end-of-life planning.
