Develops a strong understanding of Pima JTED career and technical education programs and their requirements; stays abreast of current CTE/economic/industry trends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops a strong understanding of Pima JTED career and technical education programs and their requirements; stays abreast of current CTE/economic/industry trends
- Delivers multimedia presentations regarding Pima JTED programs at public engagements, in classrooms, auditoriums, etc.
- Communicate with Director of Student Services to attend school recruitment events
- Communicate with Public Relations Director to attend community recruitment events
- Organizes and publicizes visits to member district high schools during central program application season to facilitate application how-to workshops for future students
- Prep presentation and generate ideas for recruitment season
- Network with Pima JTED faculty to understand what students are learning in central campus programs

Minimum Qualifications/Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required unless a current high school student
- Must be a successful completer of a JTED/CTE program
- Required to travel to perform job functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to recognize career pathways for multiple careers and industries
- Effective communication with diverse populations
- Ability to network and build relationships with community stakeholders including: Students, parents, member school districts, business/industry partners, and community college partners
- Ability to work independently and manage work assignments in highly interpersonal environments
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of Google Apps, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Basic Audio Visual knowledge (projectors, computers, cables etc.)
- Commitment to the aims and purposes of Pima JTED’s vision and mission
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Arizona driver’s license and access to insured and reliable transportation
- Must pass a fingerprint background check
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles), or MMR immunization verification (required if born after January 1, 1957)
- Negative TB test within the last year
