ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
Ad Astra STEAM Media is currently preparing for the October launch of our newest animated project, Entre2Mundos, and we’re looking to bring on passionate and creative Undergraduate UofA students as summer interns. Whether you're into storytelling, visual design, video editing, community engagement, or fandom culture, there’s a place for you to shine. These roles are focused on helping us build and execute a digital content and social media campaign in the lead-up to our release. The internship is unpaid.
You’ll be working alongside experienced producers and artists, including Creative Producer Carisse Zepeda, Social Media Producer Dani Abraham, and Creator Marc Sanchez. Interns will gain real-world experience building a fanbase, designing branded content, and helping launch a culturally rich, mythologically inspired series to the world.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must have a strong interest in anime and manga, especially series with bold worldbuilding and powerful themes like One Piece, Gurren Lagaan, Soul Eater, and other high-energy, character-driven titles.
- Applicants must commit to approximately 6–10 hours of work per week throughout the summer (flexible).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content strategy and campaign messaging
- Social media planning and execution
- Digital asset creation and branding
- Cross-platform audience engagement
- Collaborating with a creative production team on a multimedia launch

Summer 2025 (May–October)
