SUCCESS! 2018 Blood Drive

The graduate students of the Department of Communication hosted the second annual memorial blood drive in honor of Amanda Kundrat this past Friday, September 7th, and it was a success! This blood drive joins the long-running drive hosted by Pennsylvania State University’s Communication Arts and Sciences Department.Penn State held the first blood drive in honor of Amanda Kundrat in 2003. Amanda was a Ph.D. student at Penn State studying health communication and invisible illnesses when she died in January 2003 from complications during surgery.
