Until further notice, the University of Arizona, in accordance with the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, encourages all employees to work remotely. Our main office is open for limited hours to the public, Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm, until September 14th. About Stacey Passalacqua, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at San Antonio

Stacey Passalacqua (B.A. University of California, Santa Barbara; M.A. Purdue University; Ph.D. University of Arizona) is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Studies at James Madison University. She has taught courses in the areas of interpersonal, speech, health, gender, and applied organizational communication. Her research focus is health communication, with a specialty in provider-patient interaction and cancer communication. Her scholarship has appeared in such journals as Communication Studies, Health Communication, Psychology, and Quality of Life Research.
