About Samantha Stanley, B.A. & M.A.

ABD Doctoral Candidate at University of Maryland

Samantha Stanley earned her BA and MA in Communication summa cum laude at the University of Arizona. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication Science at the University of Maryland. Her program of research centers on the shaping and enactment of identity through communication specifically in health contexts (such as e-cigarette and cigarette use, vaccination against HPV, and pregnancy). Recently her work has focused on the role of intergroup communication in health behaviors.
