About Russ Andaloro
Dr. Russ Andaloro has been associated with the University of Arizona for close to 50 years. Upon graduation from Tucson High School in May of 1964, Dr. Andaloro enrolled that summer at The University of Arizona. He went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Speech and Drama in 1969, a second bachelor's degree in English Education in 1970, a master's degree in 1972, and his Ph.D. in 1976 all from the University of Arizona.
Dr. Andaloro’s career has focused on teaching and administration. He has taught at the University of Arizona, University of Nevada Las Vegas and at Pima Community College. He has held administrative positions with Western New Mexico University, Pima Community College, the Tucson Unified School District, and the Nogales Public Schools.
Dr. Andaloro serves jointly as a faculty member in the University of Arizona Communication Department and the Department of Civil Engineering. In the Communication Department he teaches courses in conflict resolution, persuasion, small group dynamics, and public speaking. He has also served as the Course Director for Organizational Communication. Dr. Andaloro teaches the upper division Communication for Engineers course for the Department of Civil Engineering.
When not teaching, Dr. Andaloro has performs professionally as a musician and continues to travel every chance he has.
