Larissa Terán

About Larissa Terán

Larissa Terán is a Ph.D student in the Department of Communication. She received a B.A. in Journalism Cum Laude from the University of Arizona and a M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. With a focus on the youth, Larissa's research interests are in media effects and content in regard to sexuality, gender, celebrity influence, and, particularly, sexual assault. Larissa is also a graduate teaching associate in Communication and has taught courses in Public Speaking, Communication Theory, and Mass Communication.
