Did you know that you can earn your MA in Communication with just one additional year of coursework?  It’s true starting this Fall.  The Accelerated MA Program (AMP) in Communication allows students who qualify to complete 12 credits of graduate level coursework during the fourth year of their undergraduate program -- and count those credits toward *both* their BA and MA.  After just one additional year of graduate courses, students in the AMP graduate from the UofA with both a BA and MA. In other words, you can get both degrees in only 5 years.

You will need to have a 3.3 GPA in order to apply to the program, and in order to receive the full benefits you should enroll in the program when you still have at least one more full year of undergraduate courses to complete.
